Privacy Policy — ArPar: Private Browser

Effective date: 1 October 2026  ·  Application ID: com.yourconsultants.aegisbrowser

This policy explains how the ArPar: Private Browser app ("ArPar", "the app", "we") handles information. ArPar is provided by YourTechConsultants ("we", "us"). If you have questions, contact us at yourtechconsultants24x7@gmail.com.

The short version. ArPar is built to be private. Your browsing content — history, bookmarks, cookies, cache and settings — is stored only on your device, is never uploaded to us, and is never backed up to the cloud. We do not run any server that receives your browsing. The app is 100% free, with no ads: ArPar does not use AdMob or any advertising SDK, and shares no data with Google's advertising services. The Google crash-reporting component described below processes limited technical data (such as an installation identifier and device information) under Google's own policies — never the pages you visit.

1. Information stored on your device (not collected by us)

The following stay on your device and are never transmitted to us:

The app disables Android cloud backup entirely, so none of this is copied to Google Drive or transferred to a new device. You can erase it anytime with Menu → Clean up…, and uninstalling the app deletes it entirely.

2. Information processed by third-party services

ArPar has no backend of its own. Certain features rely on Google services that process data under their own privacy policies. Throughout this section, device information means data such as your device model, operating-system/Android version, language, network/carrier, app version, and IP address; approximate (city/region-level) location can be inferred from the IP address even if you never grant the location permission.

ServiceWhat it processesWhy
Firebase Crashlytics Crash and error reports, a Firebase installation identifier, and device/diagnostic data if the app crashes. To find and fix stability problems.
Your chosen search engine (Google, DuckDuckGo, Brave, Bing or Ecosia) Your search terms when you search. If search suggestions are on, the words you type in the address bar are also sent to that engine to fetch live suggestions. To perform searches and offer autocomplete.
Websites you visit Standard web requests (as with any browser); the sites you open receive them directly. To load the pages you request.

We do not sell your personal information, and ArPar itself does not collect a profile about you. Data shared with Google's services is transferred to and processed by Google, including in the United States, under Google's privacy policy.

3. Search suggestions and your privacy

Live search suggestions are optional and can be turned off at any time in Settings → Search → Search suggestions. When they are on:

4. Permissions

PermissionWhy it may be requested
Internet / networkTo load the web pages you request. Always required.
Location (approximate)Only if a website you open asks for it and you approve — passed directly to that site. ArPar never uses it on its own.
Camera / MicrophoneOnly if a website asks (e.g. a video call) and you approve.
Storage / filesOnly when you download a file (older Android versions only).

Every website permission is asked per-site, at the moment the site requests it, and you can deny it.

5. Private mode

While private mode is on, ArPar does not save pages to history, does not store new cookies, and clears the cache when you leave. Because Android shares one cookie store across the whole app, sites you are already signed in to may still recognize you.

6. Data security

Data exchanged between ArPar and Google's crash-reporting and configuration services is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Connections to the websites you visit are upgraded to HTTPS wherever the site supports it, and HTTPS-only mode can be turned on to refuse plain HTTP altogether; by default, a site that offers no secure version still loads over unencrypted HTTP, as it would in any browser. Your browsing data is stored only on your device, protected by your device lock and Android's app sandbox; ArPar runs no server that receives it. No method of transmission or electronic storage is perfectly secure, but we rely on Android's platform protections and Google's security practices for the data described above.

7. Data retention and deletion (how to delete your data)

This section explains how to delete, or request deletion of, data associated with ArPar: Private Browser, provided by YourTechConsultants. ArPar has no user account and no backend server, so most of your data stays on your device and under your direct control.

Data stored on your device — browsing history, bookmarks, open tabs, cookies, site data, cache, settings and the local blocked-counters — is deleted immediately when you either tap Menu → Clean up… in the app and choose Everything, or uninstall the app. Nothing is kept afterwards, and none of it is ever uploaded to us or backed up to the cloud.

To delete the data processed by Google's crash-reporting component, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at yourtechconsultants24x7@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" to ask us to delete data held about your device through this service. We respond within 30 days.

What is deleted or kept, and retention periods: on-device data is deleted by you at any time using the steps above. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are retained for up to 90 days per Google's defaults, after which they expire automatically; you may request earlier deletion using the step above. See Google's data-retention policy.

8. Children

ArPar is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because ArPar keeps your browsing on your device and holds no account for you, you can exercise most of these directly in the app (clear data, disable suggestions). For requests regarding data held by Google's crash-reporting service, see Google's privacy policy. To contact us, use the email below.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will revise the "Effective date" above and, for material changes, note them in the app's release notes.
