They read from the database or ERP you already run, so everyone sees the same figures. I design each one with you. Metabase suits questions people ask again and again. Dash with Plotly suits a custom screen or an interactive chart. I choose with you, after I have seen the data.

Questions about dashboards.
Do I need a data warehouse first?
Not always. A dashboard can read from the database you already run, such as SQL Server or Postgres. I start by looking at that data, and the proposal says what to tidy first, if anything.
Can you build on my ERP or SQL data?

What do you need from me?
A way to read the data, someone who knows what the columns mean, and the decision the dashboard should help with.
What decides the cost?
Five things decide the cost, and How I work lists them. For a dashboard, I would ask first about data readiness: whether the data is complete, consistent and reachable.
