Using Declare

By installing or playing Declare you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old. Our privacy policy explains what we store and why.

Your account

Declare gives you a guest account automatically. You can secure it by signing in with Google, which lets you get back into it on another phone. Please keep your Google account secure and do not share your account with anyone else. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Crowns

Crowns are a virtual item used inside Declare. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, prizes or anything outside the game, and cannot be transferred or sold between players. Declare involves no real-money gambling or betting. We may change how Crowns are granted, spent or priced as the game develops.

Ads

Declare is free, and this version shows no ads. If we add ads in the future, they will always be described in our Privacy Policy first, shown with Google’s consent form where the law requires it, and any short video ad that earns a bonus will always be your choice and never required to play.

Usage statistics

Declare reports anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the game, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can switch this off at any time in Settings.

Ownership and what you may not do with Declare

Declare, including its code, game rules, artwork, sounds, text and name, belongs to Your Tech Consultants and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may play it. You may not copy, host or redistribute it, decompile or reverse engineer it, remove its notices, scrape or collect data from our servers, or build, run or share any other program, website or app that connects to the Declare service or imitates it. We may block access to anyone who does, and we will enforce our rights.

Playing fairly

Do not cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation to play for you online, harass other players, or choose names or avatars that are offensive or impersonate someone. We may change or remove a name or avatar, and may limit or close an account that breaks these rules.

Friends, blocking and reports

You can add friends by their friend code, and friends can see when you are online unless you switch that off. You can block any player, who is not told, and report any player for an offensive name or picture, cheating or harassment. We read reports and may change or remove a name or avatar, or limit or close an account. Please do not use reports, friend requests or any other feature to harass anyone.

The online service

We try to keep online play running but cannot promise it will always be available. We may change, pause or end online features. Playing offline against bots does not depend on our servers.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or through our delete-account page. Guest accounts that have not been used for a year are deleted automatically, as the privacy policy describes.

No warranty and limits on liability

Declare is provided as is, without promises that it will be error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Declare. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for a material change we will tell players in the app. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
